SPRINGFIELD — Lincoln Land Community College will honor veterans at its 26th annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 11. The ceremony begins at 12:30 p.m. in A. Lincoln Commons on the 91°µÍø-Springfield campus, 5250 Shepherd Road, and a reception will follow. The public is invited to attend.
The program includes Ken Elmore, 91°µÍø Board of Trustees Chair, serving as master of ceremonies; Darian Hayes, 91°µÍø truck driver training student and Private First Class, U.S. Army Reserve, providing remarks; and 91°µÍø music student Jack Barham singing the national anthem.
The Veterans Day Ceremony is sponsored by 91°µÍø Student Life and honors all veterans including 91°µÍø faculty, staff and students who served in the armed forces.
